Intro： Yanshan School and Hundred Flowers SectThe ethereal Yanshan mountains host two major sects: the Yanshan Sect at the mountaintop and the Hundred Flowers Sect at the foot of the mountain. The mountain is filled with men, while the foot is filled with women; the two sects coexist day and night yet remain estranged due to strict sect regulations stemming from long-standing grievances between their founders. However, nothing can stop the young from pursuing love, leading to a series of amusing and ironic events. In the current generation of disciples, the eldest brother of the Yanshan Sect, Zhao Xingmu, excels in both looks and martial arts but happens to be a 'chuunibyou' steel-hearted man. By chance, he saves the head sister of the Hundred Flowers Sect, Yue Qingqiu, who is also a 'straight girl.' Their encounter sparks a poignant love story; the second brother of the Yanshan Sect, Gu Yulang, is exceptionally intelligent yet cannot practice martial arts. During a mission, he is accidentally injured by the second sister of the Hundred Flowers Sect, Yu Linglong, who admires his indomitable spirit and decides to protect him. The innocent young disciple of the Yanshan Sect, Jun Weiqi, is injured by the younger sister of the Hundred Flowers Sect, Li Yixin, during a competition, but he finds himself infatuated with her, leading the naive young couple down a tumultuous romantic path of playful rivalry. As the young disciples of both sects spend time together, feelings begin to blossom, becoming irresistible. However, the good times are short-lived as a crisis looms. The Hundred Flowers Sect's leader, Hua Jingxiang, once loved Tang Zongze of the Yanshan Sect in her youth, yet due to sect rules, they were unable to be together, leading to animosity borne of love. Hua Jingxiang's junior sister, Xia Xinho, manages to sneak a taste of forbidden love with Tang Zongze's junior, resulting in her banishment and a tragic end. Many years later, Xia Xinho has mastered her powers and returns to seek vengeance, putting both sects in grave danger. Meanwhile, the over-a-century-old second-generation master of the Yanshan Sect, Yu Chengxian, finally discovers a way to awaken his dormant lover, Shaohua, who happens to be the second-generation leader of the Hundred Flowers Sect. The complicated relationships of the third-generation disciples interweave, and amidst the crisis, the younger disciples grow through their trials. With their joint efforts, the sects overcome their differences, cease to be adversaries, and the lovers finally unite to live a happy and carefree life.
