Intro： Under the sky of JapanThe story takes place in 1945, as the brutal war comes to an end and Japan's decline becomes evident, the streets are filled with despair. He enjoys playing the violin, and his beautiful music often makes the mother and daughter temporarily forget the harsh reality. Ichimura's wife is in the countryside, and he stays alone in Tokyo. Sometimes, Riko helps out with chores at Ichimura's house, and through this, feelings unexpectedly develop between the two.
