Intro： Red LoverPayne (played by Todd Babcock) is an American doctor living in the Shanghai International Settlement. By chance, he meets the Guomindang agent Haoming (played by Tao Zeru). When Qiuxiu appears before Payne, he falls in love at first sight with this beautiful Chinese woman. However, after he learns of Qiuxiu and Jin's story, he decides to help them at all costs, while also witnessing that romantic yet tragic red love.
