Intro： Nura: Rise of the Yokai ClanThe Slippery Headed Demon is the general commanding the Night Parade of One Hundred Demons. Thirteen-year-old Nurarihyon Rikuo (voiced by Jun Fukuyama) appears to be an ordinary middle school student who has a crush on his classmate's parent, Kana (voiced by Aya Hirano). However, he actually has a quarter of a demon's blood and is the grandson of the great demon 'Slippery Headed Demon.' He is respectfully referred to as the young master by the various demons of the 'Nurari Clan,' and he has a close aide named Oikawa Hiori (voiced by Yui Horie). But he only wants to be a normal human and refuses to acknowledge the fact that he is a demon, even more so, he is unwilling to inherit the role of the third leader of the Nurari Clan. Four years ago, an accident awakened his demon blood, temporarily restoring his demon appearance, but during the day, he returns to his human form and forgets that he is a demon. Since then, Nurarihyon Rikuo has continued to live a peaceful human life. However, since the moment he awakened, he has vowed to inherit the position of the third leader of the Nurari Clan, standing at the pinnacle of all demons and becoming the master of specters and apparitions.
