Intro： The Seven Ghosts PursuingThe squad leader (played by Zheng Zeshi) and Ah Ying (played by Xu Guanying) disguise themselves as ghost catchers, and along with five accomplices disguised as zombies, they smuggle opium through the route of Majiangping. The domineering Lord Miao kills the musician Ah Chang to forcefully take over the singer, threatening and enticing the squad leader to carry the corpse out of the city. The seven leave the city and enter the primeval forest, accidentally leaving the corpse behind in a sulfur swamp, and deciding to rest at an inn. That night, one accomplice is killed, and the villagers spread rumors of a vengeful ghost. The squad leader and the other five gather garlic and other items to fend off the ghost in the wilderness, but after a few clashes inside an ancient tomb, they are defeated. After escaping with Ah Ying, the squad leader returns to Majiangping to inform Lord Miao, only to learn that the ghost's motive is to seek revenge on him. Seeing the Taoist master fail at fighting the ghost, the squad leader takes the opportunity to threaten Lord Miao, but ends up being subdued and used as bait for the final battle against the ghost...
