One day, the team discovered traces of the bandit Mao (played by Meng Qingfang) at the River God Temple and cleverly captured him alive. From him, they found a reconnaissance map, and through interrogation, learned that the bandit chief, Zuoshan Diao (played by Bi Yu), planned to hold a chicken feast on the eve of the Lunar New Year to celebrate his birthday.
