Mike (played by Yu Wenle) is the police officer with the highest case clearance rate in Hong Kong, largely because he is wealthy, or more accurately, because his father is wealthy. Using money as bait and bribing informants has helped boost his case-solving record, earning him the nickname 'the flashy cop' from his colleagues. No one believes he can solve a case without money. During one investigation, Mike causes a major headache for the police force—dumping money from the sky leads to a traffic paralysis—resulting in his suspension. Meanwhile, Lin Heng (played by Chen Kun), who comes from the mainland to investigate his brother's death and is also very wealthy, happens to know Mike. On the day they meet, both wear the same suit and tie, indicating a fateful connection. Coincidentally, Mike's ex-girlfriend Lisa (played by Zhang Jiahui) is inseparable from Lin Heng. One is determined to find the true culprit, while the other wants to prove his capabilities. As Lin Heng and Mike team up, they gradually realize they have been led into a trap set by the murderer.
