In the chaotic world of the prison, it has long been divided by two major forces: the gangster leader Roller (played by坦耀文) and the lifetime sentenced Scar (played by张建声). However, the arrival of the new inmate Mai Jiantian (played by栢天男), who is wrongfully imprisoned, changes the calm prison life. Jiantian is first coerced by Scar to abandon his appeal and then bullied after being exposed for having a deep grudge against Roller. To save his life, Jiantian reluctantly accepts the advice of his cellmate Haozheng (played by张继聪) and they conspire to devise an elaborate escape plan. To avoid the strict supervision of Warden Deng (played by黄德斌), Haozheng sets a trap to persuade Roller to assist them, but is exposed by Scar and forced to join him.
