Nurse Jia Rui (played by Eason Chan) and Jing Nong (played by Zhou Liqi) are in a relationship that, despite some arguments, is relatively sweet. They decide to travel to Europe to enhance their feelings for each other. On the day of their departure, Jia Rui discovers that his car has mysteriously disappeared. They have a fight in the parking lot, and in a fit of anger, Jing Nong suggests breaking up, causing Jia Rui to leave in fury. Surprisingly, he finds his car parked just around the corner. When he opens the trunk, he is shocked to find a bloody person inside. The person's accomplice, Brother Hua (played by Wang Zhiwen), holds a gun to Jia Rui and forces him to drive while they escape from the police. Along the way, Jia Rui helps Band Hua’s injured brother bandage his wounds. Jia Rui repeatedly attempts to escape but to no avail. The one time he has the chance to flee, he hesitates to save a pregnant woman. Unbeknownst to him, this pregnant woman is actually Brother Hua's wife (played by Qin Hailu). While Jing Nong waits for Jia Rui to change his mind, she receives bad news instead and recklessly sets out to rescue her lover. Yet even as Jia Rui saves lives along the way, he cannot prevent the unfolding tragedy.
