To uncover the truth before anyone else, Charles Bishop Weyland (played by Lance Henriksen), the owner of the company that owns the PS-12, immediately gathered a group of scientific elites, including Graeme Miller (played by Ewen Bremner) and Elizabeth Shaw (played by Sanaa Lathan), to form an expedition team, heading towards Bouvet Island, a place where humanity has never set foot. The expedition team descended 2000 meters into the underground cave, where they were stunned by a mixture of relics from various civilizations.
