Time and again, misunderstandings leave Lin wronged and without recourse, so he can only escape and search for the real murderer. A group of former juvenile delinquents Lin used to mentor cannot bear to see him suffer and generously assist him in his escape. Lin's wife, Lyu Jieling (played by Xuan Xuan), becomes increasingly distant from him, and at his lowest point, they finally break apart. The gang of former delinquents comes up with a clever idea to arrange a meeting between Lin and Leling, leading to their reunion that brings about new feelings and mutual understanding, prompting Leling to decide to join Lin in pursuing the true killer.
