Twenty years ago, Wang Dalong (played by Zeng Jiang) was hunted down by both the triads and the police in Hong Kong, prompting him to move to Toronto and live as a resident in the black market. He has lived there for twenty years without any identification, during which he joined a gang and made a considerable amount of money through underground gambling. He has not returned to Hong Kong for twenty years and has neglected his responsibilities as a father, resulting in his daughter, Wang Xiuming (played by Siu-Ming Sha), completely disregarding him as a father and harboring deep hatred towards him. However, at the behest of her deceased mother, she travels to Toronto to meet her father. In order to see his daughter, Long buys a big house and participates in a drug deal to give her some money, but the deal fails and the police bust it. Consequently, Long betrays the gang leader Tony (played by Luo Yingjun), which leads to him being hunted down by Tony. When Long meets his daughter for the first time, he is killed by Tony; however, the incident is captured on camera, providing evidence of Tony's crime. As a result, Tony pursues Xiuming and Long's subordinate Fei Zai (played by Guo Jun'an), leading to a series of deadly confrontations. In the end, both Fei Zai and Tony perish in this conflict.
