The good daughter-in-law Chen Sizhen (played by Jiang Tianliu), who is both beautiful and wise, has managed the family relationships well since marrying her husband Tang Zhiyuan (played by Zhang Fa). Directed by the renowned Chinese director Sang Hu, the black-and-white film 'Long Live Missus' was made in 1947 and is a classic adaptation of the works of novelist Zhang Ailing. The subtle and delicate cinematic style of Sang Hu beautifully complements Zhang Ailing's screenplay.
