Upon arriving in Jiangmen, Huang Zhong's wallet and the will are stolen by Dasheng, who, in a panic, discards the will. With the will lost, Huang Zhong impersonates his master, Hongdao, due to the striking resemblance with Dasheng, and returns to his hometown. Shihua mistakenly believes his father, who he has been tracking for a long time, is the thief and refuses to acknowledge him. Meiying keeps her father's secret, leading Hongde, who is enamored by her, to think that his elder brother is taking away what he loves. Hongde provokes misunderstandings, leading Shihua's mother to misconstrue her husband's intentions towards their future daughter-in-law. In desperation, Huang Zhong has no choice but to reveal the truth, awakening everyone from their confusion. Hongde attempts to pressure Shihua into giving up the property, claiming there is no evidence against him since there is no witness to his alleged wrongdoings. Fortunately, the will is eventually found and returned, thwarting Hongde's plans. In the end, Shihua and Meiying unite in marriage, and Dasheng is happy to become a father-in-law, bringing joy to everyone.
