Unfortunately, Vincent (played by Ethan Hawke) is a genetically inferior person, born with nearsightedness and a heart condition that dictates he can only live until the age of 30. So his parents had another son with superior genes. Vincent's dream is to roam space, but his poor genetics prevent him from realizing that dream until he meets Jerome (played by Jude Law) at the space center. Jerome has excellent genes but is partially paralyzed due to an accident. The two decide to swap identities, and Vincent takes every possible measure to hide his genetic information, meticulously cleaning his skin flakes and hair every day to avoid any trace. On the other hand, Jerome helps him prepare the genetic materials needed for the pre-space mission check. Everything goes very smoothly, but a murder case and a single eyelash complicate matters.
