Gang leader Eddie King orchestrates a murder, witnessed by a young man named Sean Jones (played by Nathan Phillips). In order to successfully prosecute this notorious mob boss in court, the police assign veteran federal agent Neville Flynn (played by Samuel L. Jackson) to protect Sean and escort him from Hawaii to the Los Angeles courthouse. To prevent the witness from being harmed, Neville employs a diversionary tactic and secretly boards a regular red-eye flight with Sean. However, this top-secret plan is leaked to Eddie through an informant within the police. To evade legal repercussions, Eddie sends assassins carrying a large number of venomous snakes onto the plane, leading to a bizarre and terrifying bloody incident.
