Meanwhile, Ah Ying lives with her gambling-addicted father, who ultimately chooses to commit suicide after accumulating massive gambling debts he cannot repay. In order to survive, Ah Ying ends up in the red-light district as a call girl. Years pass in the blink of an eye, and to find Ah Ying, Ah Ye and her husband return to Hong Kong. Little did they know that Ah Ying had become a witness to a murder case and was being hunted by the murderer, ultimately being forced to commit suicide.
