Amei (played by Yip Chien-wen) is the daughter of a shipping tycoon and is about to marry Danny, the son of another shipping magnate, who is from a matching background. In an unfortunate incident, Amei gets into an accident, dragging along a passerby, Aqiang (played by Zheng Haonan), and his girlfriend, Alu, into the trouble. Furious, Aqiang seeks an explanation from Amei, only to have her arrogantly leave without a word.Later, Amei gets drunk at a party and, in a daze, falls into the sea. Struggling, she climbs aboard a passing yacht, where to her surprise, Aqiang is on board; he is set to escort the yacht to Thailand.
