Intro Five years of pursuit have turned into bubbles, and with the closing of The X-Files, Fox Mulder (played by David Duchovny) and Dana Scully (played by Gillian Anderson) are forced to transfer to handle some mundane cases. One day, there is an explosion in Dallas, Texas. Although Mulder and Scully strive to evacuate the crowd in the office building, the explosion still claims the lives of four innocent people, and they are criticized by their superiors for it. However, shortly afterwards, Mulder learns that the four victims had already died before the explosion, and the so-called bombing was merely a ruse implemented by a mysterious department to cover up evidence. This department is said to have been engaged in research on aliens for years, and their research could lead to the destruction of humanity. The two partners decide to investigate this matter thoroughly, but mysterious and irresistible forces constantly obstruct their quest for the truth...This film is the first feature film adaptation of the same-named American TV series.
