Haruna Yu (voiced by Yusuke Kobayashi) is an ordinary boy who has just moved to Tokyo to live. He is introverted and quite silent, relying only on his phone to express his thoughts and feelings, which makes him appear as a 'phubbing' person who is constantly on his phone to others. By chance, Haruna Yu encounters a girl named Akiyuki Fuka (voiced by Lynn), who is different from him; Fuka doesn’t even have a phone, which surprises Haruna Yu greatly. Fuka is the lead singer of a band called 'The Fallen Moon,' and at her invitation, Haruna Yu joins the band as a bassist, leading to an innocent romantic feeling slowly developing between them. Meanwhile, Haruna Yu reunites online with his childhood friend, Koyuki (voiced by Saori Hayami), who has become a famous idol singer in Japan.
