One day, while in a soda production facility, he accidentally cuts his finger, causing his blood to drip into a soda bottle that is exported to the United States, revealing his location. The U.S. military spares no effort to capture him and brings in the eager British General Emil Blonsky (played by Tim Roth). Driven to desperation, Bruce transforms into the Hulk, surprising Emil and the other soldiers.
