Glen Randolph, an honest and simple history teacher played by David Cross, arrives at a party with his online girlfriend Tracie Scott, portrayed by Julia Stiles, at the home of friends Emma (Erinn Hayes) and Peter (Blaise Miller). Before entering, Tracie specifically warns him about several taboo topics that are absolutely off-limits, but the awkward Glen ends up inadvertently crossing the line. The once cheerful gathering becomes tense after Peter and Emma announce their divorce.
