Due to an accident, the seasoned killer Frank (played by Morgan Freeman) was captured. However, en route to his detention, Frank and the transport officers were unexpectedly attacked by his accomplices, resulting in the heavily injured officer and Frank falling into the river, their whereabouts unknown. Ray (played by John Cusack) is preparing for a fun camping trip with his son Chris (Jamie Anderson) when unexpectedly, two men float down the river—it's the officer and Frank.
