The Athena gang is a women's group in Kansai that survives through extortion and theft. They have strict organizational discipline, one of which is that no member can fall in love with any man. They are affiliated with the Yakuza organization, the Akomoto group, whose member Jiro (played by Kenjiro Shimizu) is the protector of these girls. Jiro and the female leader Reiko (played by Reiko Ike) harbor feelings for each other, but their identities prevent them from being open about it. The Akomoto group, in pursuit of growth, abandons dignity and honor and uses any means necessary to chase money. The head, Masao Doi (played by Shigeru Akagi), is unable to tolerate this environment and is forced to take a leave. Jiro, meanwhile, becomes immersed in it and at one point commands Reiko to use her body to exchange for benefits for his future. Reiko refuses and suffers severe punishment, which leads to Jiro being expelled from the gang. The Akomoto group kidnaps the playboy Heiichi (played by Toshiya Nakagawa), hoping to exchange him for a powerful stimulant that can bring in huge profits from the industrialist's subordinates. The soon-to-retire Doi is forced to accept the task of hostage exchange, while Reiko and Jiro start taking action to save Heiichi as well... This film is the first installment of the 'Female Boss' series.
