During World War II, a Moscow Film School graduate named Dmitry (played by Alexander Mercury) was fortunate to receive orders from the great leader Comrade Stalin to accompany a reconnaissance company led by Novikov (played by Robert Gwilym) as a war photographer and head to the front lines. His lens captured moments of soldiers at leisure as well as intense battles on the battlefield, and of course, the evil and brutal nature of these soldiers who had lost their humanity through the trials of war. In a freezing season, the reconnaissance company received a distress call from a unit code-named Bear Tiger 303, prompting Novikov to lead his team to the remote mining area where the call originated. Little did they know that the scene there would shock everyone: the area was littered with corpses and nearly devoid of life, as if it had just recently endured a series of fierce battles. Adding to the danger, terrifying zombies occasionally emerged, threatening the safety of the reconnaissance company. What kind of tragedy had taken place here?
