Political correctness has always been paramount, yet Bellocchio dared to venture into a minefield, using a peculiar case to shed light on the complex dynamics between genders. The two male characters discussing women, in particular, provoked deep thought. It was a fiery work that challenged authority while also radiating an openness to various viewpoints.
