The genius con artist Inaba No. 4 (played by Hayami Shogen) is being transported in a prison van, facing imprisonment and a life devoid of sunlight. Together with the principal Kenichi Mizuki (played by Bunsei Hinata), Inaba catches the criminal and extinguishes the fire. In exchange for concealing this scandal from the school, he replaces the criminal—teacher Goro Hachisuka—and becomes a teacher at the academy. Mizuki hopes that the insightful Inaba, now Goro, can help him manage this seemingly reputable school that is riddled with issues. Thus, the former con artist, now teacher Inaba, along with Mizuki's daughter Ryoko (played by Ai Miya), becomes the homeroom teacher for a new class.
