Along this darkly humorous journey to find the leg, memories of Qian Yuying and Zheng Zihan's past — from meeting and falling in love to their mutual debts — resurface. Zheng Zihan falls in love at first sight with the beautiful ballroom dancer Qian Yuying, and through their mutual friend John (played by Zhang Shaohua), he becomes her dance partner. The two fall in love and enter marriage, becoming the envy of everyone around. However, Zheng Zihan's desire to make a lot of money for his wife’s a good life puts immense strain on their relationship, pushing them to the brink of estrangement.
