They are taken in by Guo Youdao, the leader of the Zhaifeng Hall, and become disciples of the Zhaifeng Hall in Chenqiao Town. They receive guidance from their righteous senior brother Xi Fan (played by Xiong Ziqi). Meanwhile, the Mountain and Sea Tower begins causing chaos, and the proud and headstrong young lady from the martial family of the Shuo Kingdom, Qin Sang (played by Cheng Xiao), tracks down the Mountain and Sea Tower's agents to Chenqiao Town with her trusted maid Ling Ziyan. They mistakenly identify Lu Ping as the contact person for the Mountain and Sea Tower and even hire the half-hearted assassin Mo Lin to infiltrate the Zhaifeng Hall for information. To find clues about the Mountain and Sea Tower, Lu Ping teams up with Xi Fan, Su Tang (played by Deng Enxi), and Mo Lin (played by Yu Yijie) to form the Zhaifeng representative team, traveling to Kaifeng to participate in the Soul Point Conference along with Qin Sang and Ling Ziyan (played by Shang Xuan).
