Intro： Block BattleIn London's Ballard Street, a gang of young punks including Mos (played by John Boyega), Dennis (played by Franz Drameh), and Cavin mug a female nurse named Sam (played by Jodie Whittaker) under the cover of night. During their crime, an unidentified creature falls from the sky and bites Mos, giving Sam a chance to escape. Enraged, Mos kills the small creature that is neither ape nor dog and takes its corpse to visit cannabis growers Rongo and the Hat. Upon discovering that the creature might be an alien, Mos gets the idea to make money off it. However, things go sour after they leave; first, a horde of large creatures of the same kind descends from the sky, and then Mos is arrested by the police Sam brought along. In the ensuing chaos, Mos and his companions manage to escape, but they have to hide in Sam's home to avoid the alien monsters, the Hat, and the police after crashing into the Hat's car. Mos leads his friends in an attempt to defend their street, but they can only flee from the monsters chasing them. To make matters worse, it seems that the monsters' main target is to kill Mos, who has already killed the small creature...
