Intro： Return to my homeThe Tsuboi family, living in Tokyo, leads a simple life full of interest. The male head of the family, Ryota (played by Hiroshi Abe), is an ad producer and a nice guy, but despite being in management, he is not respected by his subordinates. His wife, Sayaka (played by Satoko Yamaguchi), is a popular food designer, busy with work every day and rarely has time to spare. Their only daughter, Moeka (played by Ayaka Makita), has a quirky personality, claims to have a sixth sense, and often causes trouble at school. One day, Ryota's estranged father, Eisuke (played by Isao Yamaguchi), falls ill on his way to Nagano. Ryota coincidentally sees a mysterious woman, Naho (played by Aoi Miyazaki), visiting his father in the hospital, which triggers suspicions with his mother, Mitsuko (played by Kazuko Yoshiyuki), and sister, Naki (played by YOU). Subsequently, Ryota, who is not well-regarded, applies for paid leave and takes Moeka, who is on suspension from school, to Nagano to uncover Naho's identity and to search for the legendary forest gnome, Kuna.
