Intro： Darker than BlackWith the emergence of the 'Gates of Hell', the beautiful starry sky is obscured, replaced by a false night sky used to monitor the actions of the 'Contractors'. Hei, who was not originally a Contractor, feels compelled to join the battle against his will for the sake of his sister, Bai, and falls in love with the Contractor, Amber. However, he gradually discovers that Amber has betrayed the organization and also betrayed him; after a mysterious incident, his sister also goes missing. The angry Hei finally becomes a true Contractor, known as the Black Reaper, a cursed Contractor. While carrying out tasks for the organization, Hei encounters Amber again, whose words and actions are increasingly enigmatic, suggesting that there are many unspeakable secrets behind her betrayal.
