Intro： FaithIn August 1945, just as the War of Resistance against Japan came to an end, the civil war was on the brink of erupting. Chiang Kai-shek pretended to invite Mao Zedong (played by Wang Ban) to Chongqing for negotiations, while at the same time gathering information about Mao's movements and ordering Dai Li (played by Sun Lei Yan) to brutally hunt down Communists in the areas under the control of the Nationalist government, casting dark clouds over the possibility of peace. Zhao Yunfei (played by Qin Junjie), the only son of General Dingyuan who died during the war, arrived at the Nationalist government's military intelligence radio monitoring department to report for duty, after which he was assigned to review Communist propaganda materials. In the process of reading through a large number of propaganda pieces, he gradually became inspired by the noble and steadfast character of the truth and the comrades on the concealed front of our party, causing a shake in his inner faith. Meanwhile, the filth, decay, and brutal terror in areas controlled by the Nationalists prompted Zhao Yunfei to choose a higher faith.
