Intro： The Secret Tale of the Lustful GenrokuDuring the Genroku era, Asha and A7 were a pair of beautiful sisters born into a lowly family of coffin makers in Kyoto, but their fates were in stark contrast to their appearances. The elder sister, Asha (played by Yuriko Hishimi), became a concubine of the temple's head priest Seikai (played by Akira Shioji) due to her father's work. She fell in love with the merchant's son Yoshinosuke (played by Akira Nakabayashi) and devised a plan to leave the temple, only to be betrayed by Yoshinosuke. She became determined to take revenge on this unfaithful man. A7 (played by Maki Tachibana) is gentle and submissive, while her husband, a live-in son-in-law Kyuumatsu (played by Taku Kawatani), is greedy and despicable; he sells his wife's chastity for money. After a fierce dispute, Kyuumatsu is killed by his wife. Burdened with guilt, A7 makes a tragic vow to serve a thousand men to atone for her sins. The two sisters, with their differing personalities, embark on their own paths of survival...
