Intro： Memoirs of a GeishaA ninety-year-old journalist (played by Marco Antonio Treviño) is about to celebrate his birthday, so he calls an old friend—the madam of a brothel, Rosa (played by Geraldine Chaplin)—and asks her to find him a virgin for the night. A young worker (played by Alejandra Barros) enters the old man's life; during the day, she sews buttons in a factory, and at night, she crosses half the city to sleep naked in the brothel, remaining unconscious before him. The old man calls her Delgatina and gradually realizes that he has fallen in love with her. In front of her sleeping form, he reminisces about all his romantic escapades throughout his life, including the housemaid, the girl he was once engaged to and abandoned, and the glamorous scenes of nightly debauchery in the brothel… He begins to feel that he cannot live without Delgatina, and she secretly observes everything about him after he falls asleep, developing feelings for him as well. However, a sudden murder incident forces the brothel to close, and Delgatina disappears. The old man begins to go mad searching for her...
