With her father in prison, she looks after her mentally unstable mother and her wayward brother, while also trying to pay off the large debts her father has left behind. Ling always dreams of escaping this harsh reality, and after becoming Joker's model, she feels that her dream is getting closer. In a daze, Joker starts to develop feelings for Ling, but unfortunately, Ling does not want to burden Joker just as Princess D is about to be officially launched...
