The Meiling who makes fake passports looks exactly like the robot he met before, and Ruozhi mistakenly believes she is also a robot, so he decides to pretend to pursue Meiling to save himself. On August 15th, as expected, Meiling genuinely loves Ruozhi and is willing to take his place in death, only to realize that history has been rewritten.
