Intro： Legend of the God of War (Mandarin)The story takes place in the era of the Jianghu. The orphan A Fei (played by Andy Lau) is said to have been raised by fish schools since childhood, thus he possesses extraordinary skills. However, A Fei is not interested in fame and fortune, enjoying a carefree life in a fishing village. By chance, A Fei meets Yan Shisan (played by Jacky Cheung), a remnant of the former dynasty, and they quickly become close friends. To help Yan Shisan reclaim the throne from the Fourteenth Prince alongside the ruler of the Lanling Kingdom, A Fei travels to Lanling and rescues the ruler and his daughter, Yueya (played by Anita Mui). During their escape, A Fei and Yueya develop feelings for each other, but Yueya is already betrothed to Yan Shisan, forcing A Fei to leave them sadly.
