Deng Liyang senses Zhang's return to the living and calls upon Zhang's destined nemesis, the evil sorcerer, for assistance. Li Jin, who practices Mao Shan magic, feels resentful about the way Zhang and A Xing treat him and seeks revenge, but he is exploited by the sorcerer, resulting in the sealing of Zhang's ghost. Guided by the Mao Shan ancestor, A Xing and Li Jin prepare a magical potion to break the sorcery and summon the ancestor to battle Deng Liyang and the evil sorcerer.
