One day, three members of the Qinglong Gang were found dead on the street. Female professor Yu Shengnan from the medical university (played by Qi Fang), along with "Tiger Inspector" Zhong Lang (played by Richard Zhong) and intern detective Han Fei (played by Shi Xiaolong), arrived successively to investigate the scene. They discovered that the victims had all been shot dead by a marksman using "Dum-dum bullets." Zhong Lang concluded that the killer was a sniper with military background. Meanwhile, Liu Tianhe, who claimed to be a veteran of the Northern Expedition Army's independent regiment, appeared before them, revealing the true identity of the killer.
