Directed by John Jankis and adapted from the novel of the same name by Stephen Fry. The unsuccessful poet Ted Wallace is invited by his friend Logan to stay for a while at his countryside estate. Due to some strange events that have recently occurred at the estate, Ted begins to investigate the reasons behind them. A 15-year-old boy, David Logan, is believed by the Logans to possess healing hands. The Logans plan to reveal David's gift to the guests at a gathering, but Ted proves through some unusual methods that the strange happenings are actually a hoax, thereby saving David from an embarrassing situation.
