Luthess (played by Mélanie Laurent) is a seasoned professional assassin who has long been immersed in a life filled with bloodshed and killing. Exhausted both physically and mentally, Luthess only hopes to find an opportunity to quit her profession and return to a normal, peaceful life. To realize her wish, Luthess takes on one last and most dangerous mission: she will travel to a castle in the Alps to kill the tenor Aris Alexander (played by Christopher Stills), who is scheduled to perform at a holiday concert. What Luthess did not expect was that her movements were compromised. To protect Aris Alexander, the French counter-intelligence agency dispatches a former agent named Rick (played by Clovis Cornillac), who goes undercover to thwart Luthess's plans by any means necessary.
