During one investigation, Mike causes a major traffic jam by dropping money from the air, leading to his suspension. Meanwhile, Lin Heng (played by Chen Kun), who has a fortune of his own and comes from the mainland to investigate his brother's death, happens to know Mike. On the day they meet, they are both wearing the same suit and tie, suggesting a fateful connection. Coincidentally, Mike's ex-girlfriend Lisa (played by Linda Chung) is never far from Lin Heng.
