Miziru Rantei (played by Masami Nagasawa) works as an assistant at a beauty salon and often faces criticism from her colleagues. When she returns home, she has to deal with her alcoholic mother who brings men home. For her, life feels like a mess. So when her boyfriend, Masayuki Iketani (played by Ryo Nishikido), asks to live together, she agrees with hopes for the future. While shopping for household items for the new home, Miziru is unaware of the gaze from Ruka Akimoto (played by Juri Ueno) behind her. In an attempt to catch up to Miziru on the bus, Ruka accidentally bumps into Takeo Mizushima (played by Eita), who has been keeping an eye on Miziru in the home goods store. Ruka and Miziru are high school classmates, and Ruka harbors an unspoken secret in her heart. After catching up with Miziru, the two enjoy each other's company. Currently, Ruka and her friend Eri live in a share house, and when they hear Miziru happily share her plans to live with her boyfriend, a complex emotion crosses Ruka's face. However, happiness does not come to Miziru, as Masayuki's jealousy and sensitivity lead him to check her phone messages, mistaking Ruka for a man and violently attacking Miziru. Instinctively, Miziru calls Ruka for help. Ruka brings her back to the share house, only to find that Takeo is also about to join the house. Four young people gather under one roof, each with their own problems, ready to enact an unpredictable drama of their lives.
