In the tenth year of the Taiqing reign, Emperor Taiwu issued an edict, ordering General Feng Miao to lead troops to fight against the Rouran. Minister Yihun strongly opposed this, claiming that Feng Miao was a surrendered general, while Left Concubine Feng Gu supported General Feng Miao. In the end, Emperor Taiwu decided to let Feng Miao lead the expedition. After Feng Miao was defeated and surrendered, a furious Emperor Taiwu ordered Yihun to execute Feng Miao's entire family.
