This story showcases the emotional ups and downs of the characters in a complex journey through time, as well as how this journey affects the fates of different individuals. On the other hand, John Parker accepts his fate, learns to let go, and ultimately finds inner peace. At the beginning of the story, John Parker notices that his pocket watch has stopped. Time Lady Iona (played by Nadine Grossinger) explains the origins of his pocket watch and another one and asks for its return. In a heartbreaking moment, he learns of his brother Peter Parker's (played by Johannes Wiek) death. From this moment, he begins to go through the five stages of grief. He experiences denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance. Meanwhile, madman Jack uses another pocket watch to go back to 1979. There, he asks physicist Jenna (played by Stephanie Lexer) to help him repair the pocket watch that was damaged during the time jump. He also takes Peter Parker along on this time journey and confines him, leaving him severely injured. John Parker still believes that his brother is dead; throughout the development of the story, he manages to get his pocket watch working again and goes back to 1979, where he must confront madman Jack and his vengeance. Can John save his brother? Can he fulfill Iona's request regarding the two pocket watches?
