The story takes place in 1978, when a 12-year-old boy named David (played by Joey Cramer) accidentally falls into a valley and loses consciousness. When he wakes up, he returns home, but finds that everything has changed; it is now 1986, which means that 12-year-old David must face a future world eight years ahead. What happened during David's coma? After a long search, David finally finds his lost family, only to discover that his younger brother Jeff (played by Matt Adler), who was four years younger than him, has now grown into a big boy, while David still looks like a 12-year-old. Soon after, a spacecraft lands on Earth, and its presence is intricately linked to the mystery that David encounters. As a result, the space agency seeks out David in hopes that he can assist in the investigation.
