The ghost of Xu Banxiang (played by Maggie Cheung), a has-been female singer during her lifetime, predicts that a pregnant woman, who is about to give birth, will deliver at a certain hospital. Xu Banxiang plans to be reincarnated, but unexpectedly, the pregnant woman is mistakenly sent to the wrong hospital by Happy Ghost (played by Wong Pak-Ming), a teacher at a certain high school. Xu Banxiang misses her chance to be reborn. To vent her anger, Xu Banxiang starts to find ways to play tricks on Happy Ghost. At one point, she possesses the female class leader (played by Yvonne Yung Hung), making her run to a nightclub and create chaos, resulting in a group of rascals enjoying themselves at the nightclub getting arrested, and Happy Ghost being innocently implicated. Just when Xu Banxiang feels both pleased and worried, Happy Ghost tries to touch her with love. As the situation seems to resolve happily, the rascals who were released from prison show up uninvited.
