A bizarre disappearance case caused Uncle Shan (played by Hsu Shao-hsiung) to lose his beloved wife, Aunt Shan, and caused Zhang Yijing (played by Ko Hoi-ning) to grow up without maternal love. Uncle Shan was originally a locksmith running a shop called 'Integrity,' but he became senile due to this incident. He then took on a disciple, Cheng Haoren (played by Keung Ho-man). Ah Ren inherited Uncle Shan's craftsmanship and became skilled in lock picking, even surpassing his mentor. Because of his exceptional skills, he was frequently called upon by the police to help with lock openings, thus becoming friends with Detective Lau Yat-sun (played by Wong Ho-yin). To this day, Ah Ren has never encountered a lock he couldn't open. However, during one of his lockpicking jobs, he ran into an old friend he hadn't seen in years, Li Chuen Hoi (played by Chan Pui-keung). Since then, a series of strange occurrences began to unfold. On his way home, Ah Ren accidentally heard a familiar melody being played on the harmonica by his new neighbor, Miss Kwan (played by Wong Sai-ki). Having never seen Miss Kwan before, Ah Ren began to grow curious about her and secretly monitored her. Meanwhile, through Yijing, he learned that the mysterious case surrounding Aunt Shan was not simple and may be related to Miss Kwan's arrival. As a result, during another lockpicking job, Ah Ren stumbled upon a murder case, making him the prime suspect in Detective Lau's eyes.
