In the beginning of the world, magical creatures ravaged the human realm. From then on, demons and immortals clung to human bodies, leading to an endless confrontation. Over time, during the Joseon Dynasty, there was a highly skilled and flirtatious Taoist priest named Tian Yuzhi (played by Kang Dong-won), who amused himself by teasing the king with illusions and developed feelings for a beautiful young widow (played by Lim Soo-jung).
